This is Hot. What dramatic shots (the whole series). On this, from the trailer to the bike and rider. I've been into Harleys since around 23, but deluxe full dressers are mostly just luxury rides, not speed demons like import bikes. A few years ago I bought a 24' Haulmark "Edge" trailer and left Harley Davidson stickers on it. It was used for Daytona Bike Meets and was appealing and met my needs.. for when I go on the road. I learned to ride a Harley chopper when I was 24, but 1 time I was speeding along on a winding country road doing close to 90 mph (I'm not sure on the speed because the speedometer was out of calibration, it went up to 160 and the rear sprocket had extra teeth for more speed, the power band was raised to kick in @ about 80, it was bored 50 thousandths over, solid rods so they wouldn't float) and a car was in front of me ....watching in his rearview mirror and overran his turn, then suddenly braked and steered to turn left and stopped midway in the other lane (he saw I couldn't stop ... 2 lane road). With such a heavy bike I was going to have to lay it down under the left side of his car. Extended raked choppers steer wide and front breaks hardly work. I swerved to the left barely missing the front of his car, shifted my weight as hard as I could to the right to straighten up beside the road, then rode the roadside beside a ditch ..this frightens me too much.. till I could get back on the road. I was spared. It was an old 74 (cu in) Electroglide panhead with a raked front end, custom springer extended 10", hardtail, drag pipes. To give an idea of the weight, my younger sister, 19 at the time, taught aerobics, fitness and studied karate, tried to move it when it started raining 1 x and couldn't hold it up, was pinned under it and I don't remember how she got out. Dancing strengthens the muscles like crazy and I was/am strong. Btw, Elizabeth Taylor rode a Hog when she was in good health and loved it. They give such a sense of freedom. The trailer in the background is "bad." OK, I'm not that bad. (sorry if I'm wrong bringing this up. Someone asked that and I thought it was you) Just a little wild, considering my age and occupation. (actually I'm quite the lady unless I'm teasing men or with my girlfriends, or breaking guys down a piece at a time) I don't drink, don't smoke or use drugs, and don't violate marriages. I left BadGirlz because there was too much X stuff going on and I was the second worst 1 there. My partner was worse. She founded it and made me co-founder without telling me, and I was in up to my neck before I saw we were wide open. reply | |||
